Zoneco gets sustainable fishing status for Zhangzi Island operation

Zhangzi Island, in China's northern Yellow Sea, is already well-known for its ecological environment and abundant seafood.

But now the area's largest scallop fishery, run by Dalian Zoneco Group, has become the first in the country to be awarded Marine Stewardship Council certification.

The London-based council is behind an ambitious global program, working with partners to promote sustainable fishing practices.
