Mainland, Taiwan to fight terrorism

Both sides across the Taiwan Straits will cooperate on anti-terrorism operations, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council said on Wednesday. The mainland and Taiwan have been working together closely on fighting crime, and anti-terrorism is part of that cooperation, An Fengshan, a spokesman for the office, said at the first regular news briefing after the meeting between the top leaders of both sides, Xi Jinping and Ma Ying-jeou, earlier this month.
