They create a WeChat group with embassy and reporters to work out strategy that saved lives

Shattered glass piled in a corner near the entrance of the Radisson-Blu Hotel in Bamako, Mali, is a reminder of the terror attack on Friday night that killed 27 people.

Chinese survivor Li, who declined to give his real name for security reasons, returned to the hotel on Saturday morning to fetch his belongings.
