Airline helps with heart transplant

A donated heart was beating inside the body of a recipient in Wuhan just five hours after being collected by doctors in Guangdong province on Thursday. Three doctors from the Wuhan Union Hospital collected the organ and flew to Tianhe Airport in Wuhan, where the China Southern Airlines plane was given priority landing clearance and allowed to park close to the exit. The airline also used its micro blog to make a media appeal to urge drivers in the city to give way to the car carrying the heart to the hospital.
