Jaguar F-PACE
British icon Jaguar made the China debut of its first SUV F-PACE at the Guangzhou auto show on Nov 20.
The SUV, with five variants, has the lightweight aluminum architecture for which Jaguar Land Rover has been a globally recognized leader.
Those sporting a 2.0-liter engine have a maximum output of 240 horsepower while the ones with a 3.0-liter engine have a maximum output range of 340 to 380 horsepower.
The car will hit the Chinese market in 2016, with its price ranging from 548,000 yuan to 898,000 yuan.

Volvo XC90 TwinEngine
Volvo launched its premium plug-in hybrid seven-seater SUV XC90 T8 Drive-E Twin Engine to the world's largest auto market on Friday at Guangzhou auto show.
The plug-in hybrid XC90 accelerates from zero to 100 km per hour in 5.6 seconds, and cuts its fuel consumption to 2.6 liters per 100 km. It emits only 63g carbon dioxide every km.
The Drive-E two-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine delivers 400 Nm peak torque to the front wheels. An electric motor at the back drives rear wheels and adds 240 Nm. All-electric, hybrid, and power configurations are available.
The 2.3-metric-ton SUV combines the generous interior space, flexible capability and smooth comfort of a much smaller car. It has a length of 4,950 millimeters with a wheelbase of 2,984 mm.
The standard chassis has a ground clearance of 238 mm. The version with air suspension adjusts the ground clearance from 227 mm to as high as 267 mm in accordance with the driving mode and speed. The car automatically lowers the chassis when the driver and passengers step out.
The eight-speed automatic transmission is equipped with an Orrefors crystal glass gear shifter in the superior edition.

Geely Emgrand EV
Geely Automobile launched its first all-electric model during the ongoing Guangzho auto show.
The Emgrand EV carries a 45.3 kWh ternary lithium-ion battery that allows for a driving range of up to 253 km possible, and up to 330 km at 60km/h constant speed.
The new model is compatible with five Direct Current and Alternating Current charging plugs. The quick charge function revives 80 percent of the battery in 30 minutes.
The electric motor outputs a maximum of 95 kWh and 240 Nm peak torque. It enables the sedan to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in 9.9 seconds.
The new EV consumes 15.8 kWh of electricity over 100 km, which could allow car owners to save up to 65,000 yuan over a drive of 150,000 km. After four complimentary maintenance checkups, a car owner might not need to spend a penny of maintenance on the car in four years, according to the company.
The Emgrand EV buyers are eligible for a 54,000-yuan national subsidy and may receive another 54,000 yuan from local governments.
