I come to the rescue of colleagues lost for words

I did not expect too much from my mission to the Philippines to cover the 2015 APEC meeting.

But while reviewing the week I spent in Manila on the last day of the most important economic gathering in the Asia-Pacific region, many vivid impressions sprang to mind.

These included how I had been pursued - but not in a hostile manner - by my international colleagues in the Philippines.
