Maradona 'fine' after gastric bypass - doctor

Diego Maradona has undergone a second gastric bypass surgery in Venezuela and is feeling "fine," the Argentine soccer legend's doctor said on Monday.

Maradona, 55, underwent the surgery on Sunday at a private clinic in Maracaibo, said Dr Carlos Felipe Chaux, a Colombian surgeon who specializes in weight loss procedures.

"He told me he was feeling fine, that he wasn't in any pain," Chaux said, adding Maradona was already up and walking on Sunday after his operation.
