Country decries WTO's anti-dumping duties

The Ministry of Commerce has urged the World Trade Organization to treat China's market economy status fairly under its rules and give up deliberate anti-dumping activities against Chinese goods. Shen Danyang, the ministry's spokesman, said China's steel industry and its exports have no direct connection with the country's market economy status. He said certain countries must stop levying excessive tariff on Chinese products.
