Culture: Contemporary Asian ceramic art shines in Hangzhou

On Saturday, the 2015 Asian Contemporary Ceramic Exhibition opened at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province. The show, which runs till Nov 17, includes more than 400 sets of top contemporary ceramic pieces created by students and professors from nearly 50 colleges in Asia, such as those on the Chinese mainland and in Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan. Organizers said the exhibition is also an exploration of new teaching methods that include experimentation via international exchange workshops and communication expos.
