Plastic surgery can be scarring and not fit for all
ABOUT 56,000 CHINESE visited the Republic of Korea for plastic surgery last year. But whether people should face disfigurement in the quest for beauty has sparked debate. Comments:
There are usually two criteria for measuring beauty: one of which is what is fashionable. When people feel an oval face is the best shape, we take an oval face as the ideal. However, there is another criterion that is more important, and that is uniqueness. Coupled with distinctive personal characteristics, uniqueness can be more beautiful.
In addition, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is much more important for a person to develop a good character, which will make him or her easy to get along with and attractive not just of because of his or her looks but because of his or her personal charm.
