208,000 reporters registered in China

China has approximately 208,000 registered journalists, including more than 1,100 reporters working for Internet news portals, news authorities said on Sunday, the country's 16th Journalists' Day. Around 47 percent of reporters are female, 53 percent male, said a statement from the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.
