Airport adopts self check-in

Passengers departing from Beijing Capital International Airport can now tag and drop their baggage at a self-service check-in machine on Air China domestic flights. The self-service machines, at J section in Terminal 3, take each passenger an average of 30 seconds to operate, while checking-in at a manned counter takes about 90 seconds, said Li Yang, manager of baggage check-in at the airport.
