Carpoly unveils student initiative

This year's Carpoly Financial Aid for Students initiative was launched recently at a ceremony held in Xichong High School in Xichong county, Sichuan province. The first 30 students to benefit from the project are from the nearby Pengshui High School, who each received 2,000 yuan ($317) in funding from Carpoly Chemical Group Co Ltd, the leading paint, timber and coatings manufacturer. The company has been contributing to educational charities for 11 years, and plans to support 55 students this year.
