Organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd, the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show 2015 and Industrial Automation Show 2015 are being held from Tuesday to Saturday in Shanghai's National Exhibition and Convention Center, the world's largest exhibition complex, for the first time.
As a professional theme show under the umbrella of the China International Industry Fair, the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show 2015 has attracted more than 450 exhibitors within a display area of 60,000 square meters to present an international exhibition for machine tools, sheet metal and piping processing and the smart manufacturing of molds and tools.
The Industrial Automation Show 2015 presents a feast of smart manufacturing systems from over 500 well-known enterprises who will exhibit their developments in industrial automation and other technologies within a display area of 56,000 square meters.
The five-day shows expect to receive more than 120,000 trade visitors.
High-precision tools
As one of the most influential international metalworking exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, MWCS 2015 will be held for the first time in Hall 2 and Hall 3 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center. It will focus on several categories, including metal-cutting machinery, metal-forming tools and special machine tools, to promote the advanced upgrades in China's machine tool industry.
In recent years, China's machine tool industry expanded along with the rapid growth in China's economy. But as the national economy slows, so has the machine tool industry.
Many of the industry's enterprises in China face the severe challenge of rapid increases in user demand, overcapacity of domestic machine tools and high import rates.
Since Germany introduced its Industry 4.0 concept that takes into account modern automation, data exchanges and advanced technologies, China has embraced its Made in China 2025 plan that prioritizes the development of 10 fields, including highend, numerically-controlled machine tools and robotics, that integrates informatization and industrialization in an attempt to help China's manufacturing industry to develop smart, highly efficient and environmentally safe products.
This year's show is in line with that development trend and focuses on the integration of solutions and high-precision products that are technologically diverse.
Trumpf and Amada, the leading enterprises in global manufacturing technologies, will bring their automated feeding and blanking machines and continue to work with other renowned equipment suppliers to produce metal forming machine tools, including Prima Power, Savanini, LVD and Mitsubishi.
Haas, Chiron, Mazak, SMTCL, Dalian Gona, Qinchuan Machine Tool & Tool, Hanchuan CNC Machine Tool and Jier Machine-Tool Group will participate in an exhibition of metal-cutting machine tools and present their multifunctional tools that can perform honing, grinding, polishing and super-finishing.
The special machine tools have gathered some leading enterprises, including Fulu, Waterjet, Arku and Kohler and will display innovations in technology.
MWCS 2015, which will lead the transformation of the machine tool industry, will promote its development in technologies that prioritize precision, high-speed processing, intelligence technology and being environmentally safe. It is the most influential international metalworking exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region.
Smart manufacturing
IAS, an international exhibition providing comprehensive solutions for factory automation, will cover the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial IT, manufacturing informatization and micro-systems technology.
This year, IAS will be located in a new hall to accommodate the doubled numbers of exhibitors from previous years and provide better services. IAS is the largest and most influential industrial automation show in Asia, covering four categories: system controls, sensor connectors, motors and accessories in robotics.
During the show, several professional activities and forums will be held to effectively connect the exhibitions and conventions. Meanwhile, experts, buyers and visitors will obtain information about technologies from the exhibits.
This year, China put forward its concept of Made in China 2025 and its Internet Plus strategy. It also devoted itself to the pursuit of an in-depth integration of industrialization and informatization.
In the industrial blueprint of the future, automation is a top priority. IAS, in response to the national policies, gathers global high-end manufacturing equipment and technology in Shanghai.
During the show, Siemens will appear with its latest technologies and Festo, the pneumatic products giant, will bring several products with the latest bionics techniques.
Bosch Rexroth Group, the drive control industry leader, will introduce its latest technical products and experiences to China for the first time.
Well-known exhibitors, including Phoenix, Mitsubishi, Honeywell, Omron, Beckhoff, Turck, Rittal, Pepperl+Fuchs, B&R, Delta, Harting, Weidmuller, and Banner will display their products at IAS 2015.
IAS has a proud tradition of robotics exhibitions. This year Kawasaki and Kuka Robotics will bring their novel products and technologies to the show.
Moreover, the world's top robot manufacturers, including ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa, Nachi, Hyundai, St?ubli, Epson and Yamaha as well as renowned domestic robotics manufacturers, such as Siasun, Estun, Efort, GSK and STEP Electric will gather together with their latest high-end industrial robotic products.
During the two shows, the organizers will invite around 100 buyer groups. User enterprises engaging in automobile manufacturing, electronic manufacturing, food and beverage, packaging equipment, metal plate, cabinetry, kitchen and bath wares, such as Foxconn, CHNT, Hitachi, Shanghai Guangdian Electric Group, Aurora, Rittal, Fotile and Kitchen Ware will attend the show in groups. All official information about the shows will be transmitted to exhibitors, visitors and buyers through various traditional and new media.
