Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho vowed to continue trying to resurrect his team's desperate season after Saturday's 3-1 home loss to Liverpool created yet more scrutiny of his position.

Liverpool's win, inspired by a pair of goals from Philippe Coutiho, condemned Chelsea to its sixth defeat in 11 league games and left the reigning champion just four points above the Premier League relegation zone in 15th place.
