Li outlines free trade opportunities and suggests combining China's strengths with ROK

Beijing is set to be more open toward Seoul in telecom, finance and other service sectors, Premier Li Keqiang told business leaders from the Republic of Korea during a luncheon address on Sunday in Seoul.

China and the ROK "will continue our negotiations on trade and investment by combining a pre-established national treatment with a negative list - especially in rule setting for telecom, finance and other service sectors" - hoping for changes that are "more favorable than other countries' commitments in their free-trade agreements", Li said.
