During the ongoing China Fashion Week, which lasts till Nov 2, many homegrown labels unveiled collections with traditional elements. "I love traditional Chinese culture and I feel it is in my blood and genes," said Li Shiyong, the designer for Indie brand D.CNTEX. "That's why I staged this show, to show my knowledge of traditional culture." The brand's collection featured outfits inspired by the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907).
