Li looking for some Turkish delight

Rising Chinese star Li Haotong is ready to tackle the challenge of playing the $7 million Turkish Airlines Open, which teed off on Thursday and features 78 players, including Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood and four-time major champion Rory McIlroy.

The only Chinese entrant in the tournament in Belek, Turkey, Li joins fellow rising stars An Ben of South Korea and Matt Fitzpatrick of England in tackling the stunning Montgomerie Maxx Royal course for the opening event of the European Tour's Final Series.

Li, 20, came close to winning this year's Shenzhen International and is hoping to go one better in Turkey.
