Quick clearance in EU for Chinese goods

The country's General Administration of Customs and the European Union will start mutual recognition of the "Authorized Economic Operator" designation from Nov 1. The AEO label is given to companies that are involved in the international movement of goods that have gained approvals from national customs administration. Chinese companies with the AEO label will get priority clearing at customs offices in 28 EU countries. They would need fewer inspections of their exports, which would facilitate quicker handling and lower transport costs.
