Rouhani: Teheran to implement deal

Iran is ready to start implementing the nuclear deal reached with world powers, President Hassan Rouhani said following its approval by the Iranian parliament.

The vote by the Iranian parliament on Tuesday still needs the final approval of Iran's Guardian Council, the supreme legislative body.

"After the Guardian Council announces the endorsement, the Iranian government will start the necessary measures" to implement the nuclear agreement, Rouhani said during a live televised speech.
