The new unit will promote greener, sustainable corporate practices in factories across China

Hitachi Ltd, the Japanese electronics giant, has launched a smart-logistics project in China to help promote greener and more sustainable practices in factories across the country.

Being promoted particularly in the north, east and south of China, where many automobile accessories, machinery and precision electronics manufacturers are concentrated, Hitachi officials say the project aims to provide companies with an efficient one-stop service.
