PLA ship visits Hawaii

The high-seas training ship Zheng He of the People's Liberation Army Navy has arrived in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, for a four-day training exchange and goodwill visit.
The ship, which began its port call on Monday, received a warm welcome from US Navy officials and local residents.
"I am happy and proud to be one of the people to welcome the Zheng He. I hope they enjoy Hawaii," said Joseph Young, a 91-year-old retired Honolulu dentist.
