China condemns attacks

China on Sunday strongly condemned the bombings. "We are against terrorist attacks in any form," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in a statement.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said in a statement that he expected the perpetrators to be swiftly brought to justice. Russian President Vladimir Putin said his country was ready to cooperate with Turkey to fight terrorist threats.
