Spain's "Red Duchess" capped off an unconventional life by marrying a much younger woman just hours before her death in 2008 - and making out her will to her new spouse.

Luisa Isabel Alvarez de Toledo surprised her children by marrying her former German partner, Liliana Maria Dahlmann, in a civil ceremony conducted by a council official just hours before she died on March 7, 2008 from pneumonia at the age of 71.
