University students make 3D-printed mooncakes

Fancy a mooncake made with 3D printing technology? The first batch of 3D-printed mooncakes made by a company in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, has proven popular among shoppers. The company develops and produces 3D food printers. Made up of university students, it is one of the earliest 3D printing food enterprises in the nation. Its creative team is based on a State lab of computer aided design and a 3D printing lab in the province.
