Trading platforms for power sales on cards

The government is setting up trading platforms to help electricity-generating companies sell power directly to customers at market rates. Work on the platforms has started, said Lian Weiliang, deputy director at the National Development and Reform Commission, the nation's top economic planner on Wednesday.
