News kiosks to be dismantled

All 32 news kiosks in Xinchang county, Zhejiang province, were to be removed by authorities. The urban management bureau said that the kiosks had to be taken down because they blocked the view of drivers at intersections. Residents were worried they would have nowhere to buy newspapers and magazines, while kiosk owners said that they would lose their livelihoods.
