Kremlin urges Russia-US talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that dialogue between Moscow and Washington on solving the Syria crisis was indispensable.

Peskov made the comments when asked whether talks on Syria were possible between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Barack Obama.

The Kremlin has not ruled out the possibility of dialogue with the US on the Syrian settlement, but there hasn't been an agreement on this yet, Peskov told reporters.
