A silently sprouting trend goes to the head

You must have noticed it.
In Beijing's shopping malls and major thoroughfares, a new movement is taking shape, and it's all getting a little heady.
Little sprouts of leaves, berries and flowers, all unabashedly plastic, are sprouting out of the best neatly coiffured tops. It is appearing on heads of all shapes and sizes, on both genders and of all ages.
