Audi's new A7 family and S7 Sportback
German premium automaker Audi's new Audi A7 family, with its high aesthetic and sporty designs, hit the market on Sept 10 with a price range of 658,000 yuan ($10,281) to 938,000 yuan.
The A7 family caters to the nation's social and independent elites who have a strong drive to pursue a high-end lifestyle, said the automaker. Its full lineup will provide them with elegance, excellence and a charming driving experience.
The A7 Sportback 4.0 TFSI will be equipped with the new 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder engine. Its peak power can hit 185 kilowatts and a peak torque of 370 Nm.
It has a 7-speed S tronic gearbox and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. The new Audi A7 Sportback 50 TFSI quattro has the upgraded 3.0 TFSI six-cylinder engine.
Its peak power hits 245 kW, up 17 kW compared with the previous version. Audi recently sponsored an arts show featuring A7 design in Shanghai that opened on Sept 10 and will run through Sept 16. In addition to the debut of the new A7 lineup, Audi also unveiled its new S7 Sportback in China.
The model sports a 4.0 TFSI V8 turbocharged engine, which boasts better efficiency and less noise. It generates a maximum output of 331 kilowatts, 22 kW more than its predecessor, and a top torque of 550 Nm.
Optional accessories like leather steering wheel covers that can be heated and Valcona leather seats add to the model's luxurious interior.
Available in three colors, it is priced at 1.358 million yuan in the Chinese market.
