Howard aiming for Peak performance

After signing an endorsement deal with Chinese sportswear manufacturer Peak, NBA All-Star center Dwight Howard is touring the country this week to expand his already strong fan base.

Howard's deal with Peak kicks off with the start of the NBA season next month. The 29-year-old, an eight-time All-Star and the starting center for the Houston Rockets, had a long-term deal with adidas that expired at the end of last season.

Howard joins the likes of All-Star guard Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs and former Dallas Mavericks playmaker Jason Kidd in Peak's sponsorship stable.
