Child healthcare fund kicks off

The launch ceremony for the Blessing Baby Special Fund under China Charities Aid Foundation for Children was held in Beijing on Aug 30. The fund, which aims to help poor children with serious illnesses and carry out child disease prevention publicity, was launched by the Blessing China charity, a private organization founded in 2013 which has more than 700 volunteers. The fund's first major disease screening and prevention publicity activity will be launched in Yushu, Qinghai province, on Sunday.
