French teenager under microscope after signing record transfer deal

If Anthony Martial felt unsure about the scale of the challenge awaiting him at Manchester United, it will have been made plain by a comment from his new teammate Morgan Schneiderlin.

Addressing journalists at France's training camp, which the 19-year-old Martial had just left in order to sign for United, Schneiderlin said Wayne Rooney had spoken to him about the club's newest recruit.
