15 punished for spreading rumors
The People's Liberation Army has punished 15 people for spreading military-related rumors online, according to PLA Daily. The rumors included "inside stories" and the military's "latest reform programs", as well as fabricated information about the PLA, the paper said. The PLA will work with police to intensify the crackdown on the spreading of rumors and illicit information, the paper said.
