Marking contributions toward war victory

The press center for the commemoration marking the 70th anniversary of China's victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45) is scheduled to hold a media briefing this afternoon in Beijing. Catherine Stevens, widow of US Flying Tigers volunteer squadron pilot Ted Stevens; Allen Larsen, member of the Flying Tigers; N. Chuikov, grandson of late Soviet Union marshal Vasily Chuikov; Tsutsui Kenji, son of Tsutsui Shigeo, a Japanese veteran in China's Eighth Route Army; and Jean Louis Bussiere, son of French doctor Jean Augustin Bussiere, who also provided significant support to Chinese victims, are set to talk about the wartime experiences.
