The sales counters will be set up in major shopping spots to sell Cardin clothes to foreign visitors and tourists.

Cardin suggested that China should develop Chinese-fashioned clothes for a larger share of the global market.

Anyone who visited China just a few decades ago will remember many people being dressed in similar styles and shades of gray, blue and green on streets across the country.
