Overseas Chinese commemorate war victory

The press center for the commemoration marking the 70th anniversary of China's victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45) is set to hold a press conference today in Beijing. Florence Fang, founder of the World War II Pacific War Memorial Hall; Zhang Sujiu, honorary chairwoman of the Roundtable of Chinese-American Organizations; and Tomasc Tiu, president of the European Association of Promotion for Peace, are expected to discuss the various anniversary activities and events held by overseas Chinese worldwide.
