Parade: Animals help with Sept 3 parade preparations

Animals such as macaques, saker falcons and harriers are being trained to keep birds from disrupting the aerial displays for the Sept 3 parade to mark China's victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45), the Beijing News reported. The primates help tear down the birds' nests, while the harriers are sent to drive the birds into the sky for the falcons to disperse them.
