China-Russia drill on Heilong River
China and Russia are scheduled to hold a joint drill on the Heilong River, also known as the Amur River, today, to strengthen cooperative capacity in dealing with emergencies. Ten vessels from the maritime authorities of Heilongjiang province and 12 vessels from the emergency department of Russia's Amur Oblast will take part in the drill involving search, rescue and patrol operations.
