3 dead, 8 missing after landslide

Three people have been confirmed dead after their bodies were dug out of the debris of a landslide that buried a section of a road in Funing county on Saturday evening, local authorities said on Sunday. The accident happened at about 7 pm. As of Sunday morning, eight people are still unaccounted for, according to the county's publicity office. More than 200 rescuers, along with 11 excavators and four sniffer dogs, were searching for missing people.
