Floods kill 11 and leave 13 missing

Flooding in Sichuan province has left at least 11 people dead and 13 others missing, and disrupted the lives of more than 500,000 people. State media said on Thursday that heavy rain and flooding had struck the province since Sunday. The worst-hit area was Xuyong county, where mud and debris piled up in the streets to the second-floor level.
