Parade organizers to hold press conference
The State Council is scheduled to hold a press conference this afternoon at the State Council Information Office. Officials from the Parade Steering Group Office and the PLA Beijing Military Area Command are expected to discuss the latest details on preparations for a major parade to mark the 70th anniversary of China's victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45). The briefing is open to domestic and foreign reporters.
