Briefing on war victory anniversary parade
The State Council is scheduled to hold a media briefing today at the State Council Information Office. Qu Rui, major-general and deputy director of the Parade Steering Group Office, and Wang Shun, major-general and deputy head of the PLA Beijing Military Area Command, will introduce preparations for a parade to mark the 70th anniversary of China's victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45). The briefing is open to reporters from home and abroad.
