Premier Li Keqiang did not mince his words when he visited the site of the tragic Tianjin blast.
He told the officials to get their act together and tell the public the facts. Not doing so, he said, would only fuel rumors and create public panic.
The next thing he did was to assure the families of the auxiliary fire force that all firefighters were heroes and they would be compensated equally.
