SOE reform plan gets State Council approval

The State Council has officially approved the blueprint for reform of China's State-owned enterprises, according to a report published in the Economic Information Daily on Wednesday. The new reform plans will based on an adjustment in SOE's function classification, followed by a mixed-ownership reform and an employee stock ownership plan.
