Focus on quality of writing, authors

The upcoming Shanghai Book Fair - an acclaimed mainland event - will likely see less craze among readers for lifestyle and personal finance books.

In the past few years, book launches and reading sessions related to the fields - especially "teaching people how to invest in the stock market" - used to draw a large number of visitors to the fair. But this year, the organizers will hold such book campaigns.

Not that people have lost interest in such books, but the organizers announced that the mission was to guide the public toward "reading good books and in-depth reading".
