Return of ads in TV dramas controversial

RECENTLY the China TV Drama Production Industry Association suggested to the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television that it should allow commercial advertisements to be broadcast during TV dramas, which has drawn public concern. Comment:
An industry association has the right to speak for the interests of its own industry. But the TV industry is probably unaware of the root cause of its crisis. Currently, the Internet is making great endeavors to attract audiences. If the TV stations resume telecasting ads that break into TV dramas, it may accelerate the exodus of TV audiences.
