Floral displays to bloom in capital

Beijing will put 2.8 million floral displays on view ahead of the 70th anniversary of victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45). The capital traditionally arranges floral decorations for festivals and other important occasions. "The flowers will be arranged at scenic spots, squares and tourist sites in the capital," said Zhu Yingzi, an official at the Beijing Park Management Center.
