Four years ago, a right-wing extremist gunned down 69 people, shattering the tranquility of the idyllic Norwegian island of Utoya after bombing government buildings in the center of Oslo, killing eight others.
This week, a flood of newcomers will be arriving on the island as the Labor Party's youth camp opens for the first time since the massacre.
More than 1,000 people enrolled for activities at the camp from Friday through Sunday. It is thought to be the highest number ever, according to Norway's NTB news agency
