Soong foundation launches project

A new cancer-awareness project has been launched in Beijing by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, which it hopes will deepen patient understanding of the disease, and improve the living standards of sufferers. The project will hold lectures and distribute information brochures around 200 hospitals nationally. Organizers said they hope the effort will attract more donations too. Three WeChat platforms have been created by the foundation, specifically focused on breast, stomach and intestinal tract cancers and their treatment.
